I arrived this morning from a business trip. When I read on 248am and Nicole B blogs about a spill near the North Pier, I headed straight to the beach and saw the action there. There were two security cars. Having just arrived from 12 hour flight, the last thing I wanted to do is argue about taking photos. This time last year was a mess on the northern side of Mangaf. They were updating the pipleines for the Mina Al Ahmadi North Pier (the one visible from the Hilton beach).

According to the plans, this as well as the area opposite (Abu Halifa side) is designated as a major park area.
