
They updated this finally and I would guess this image was captured in April 2008. My main clue is that the foundations for the new orange houses (in block 1) are being dug in this photo, and that’s when it all started.
I promised an update almost two years ago… I didn’t expect it would take this long.
I will work on getting the next one and hope it will have new roads on it

I had this urge of eating Mandi for dinner so I set out to check our arabic joints in the hood. SURPRISINGLY we have a resturant called Azeem Yemini with weird pink tiles in it right before the Mangaf filling station round about. The mandi is fresh and has a good taste. Price 2.750K.D for meat mandi. Try it out!

Mamlaka is not as good as it used to be and Janoob is now terrible (both in Mahboula btw). I will think about this one… However starting again on the Mandi road can be a dangerous one
My favourite real restaurant in Mangaf – by far – is the world class Blue Elephant.
