It seems the rumours of the Blue Elephant closing are true. I hate to be the one who confirms this but the restaurant is changing! It will remain “oriental” but will not be part of the same international chain. I first tried this restaurant in Copenhagen, then in London. My wife and I have eaten at this one on average twice a month for the past year. They’ve even mastered our meals for take-away (Thanks Alex). I’m surprised they’re not making enough money just out of the two of us.
The good news is that the great staff will be the same – which means we will still have delicious food and good service.

I will miss seeing this logo.

We don’t go that often, but we have a tradition of going on Valentine’s Day . . .
It was the first restaurant I ever went to in Kuwait.

Had some last night…
It will still be there – just in a different suit.
Hope they maintain the quality.

I’ve never had hummus there! Order the Thai food. They have 8 pages of it! Most of the ingredients are flown in from Thailand…
